"Mrs. Shaffer is a caring teacher who drives over an hour one way to Pangborn Elementary School from Cumberland Md everyday. She stays after to tutor children and helps them in any way she can. She really connected with my son and helped him adjust alot quicker then normal. My son is ADHD and ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) it usually takes him at least a month to get use to a teacher but it only took about 2 weeks. She really enjoys doing all the holiday parties and the craft items that are including in the holidays. Any teacher who enjoys driving over a hour one way to get to work I believe she deserves Teacher of the Week."
